What Are Christian Bloggers All About?
Let me be real: not all “Christian bloggers” are actually pointing people to Christ. Some sprinkle in a verse or two but stay far away from hard truth. Others focus more on lifestyle vibes than on Scripture. But genuine Christian bloggers—the ones worth your time—are doing something much deeper. They’re using their platforms to share the Word of God boldly and biblically.
When I started this blog, I didn’t set out to become a “Christian blogger.” I just wanted to write things that would help people understand the Bible better—starting with articles like what must I do to be saved? and this Christian blog will help you grow in faith. But I’ve come to see that blogging, when done biblically, can actually be a powerful ministry.
Christian bloggers can cover all kinds of topics—salvation, identity, raising kids in the faith, understanding God’s will, dealing with stress, even tough subjects like abortion or gender issues. But the key is that it all has to come from the Bible, not just opinions.
This blog exists for that reason—to give people biblical truth in a world full of noise. That’s what real Christian bloggers do. They point people back to Jesus, to His Word, and to the only truth that saves.

Christian Bloggers Worth Following (Including This One)
There are plenty of Christian influencers out there, but I’m talking about Christian bloggers who consistently share biblical truth—not fluff, not feelings. Here are some you should absolutely know:
1. Desiring God
Founded by John Piper, this blog is packed with Scripture-based content that challenges and encourages. It’s serious about glorifying God through solid theology.
2. The Gospel Coalition
This site features a range of Christian bloggers, authors, and teachers, all grounded in Scripture. They tackle theology, culture, and daily life with biblical clarity.
3. Revive Our Hearts
Especially great for women looking for deep discipleship. Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth and others write about real issues with a Titus 2 heart.
4. HeartCry Missionary Society
Paul Washer’s ministry blog focuses on sound doctrine and missions. It’s a go-to for encouragement rooted in biblical boldness.
5. Plans with Jesus (Yes, right here!)
This Christian blog is all about biblical truth, not watered-down Christianity. We cover everything from why baptism is necessary to how to deal with bad days using Scripture. I write everything with the NKJV Bible in hand, and I’m not afraid to talk about Heaven, Hell, and everything in between.

Why Christian Bloggers Matter in Today’s World
I don’t say this lightly: we need more Bible-based voices online, especially now.
Our world is noisy—filled with confusion, compromise, and false teaching. And sadly, some of the loudest “Christian” voices out there are twisting Scripture to fit culture instead of submitting culture to God’s Word. That’s why Christian bloggers who stick to the truth are so important.
I’ve written before about discerning false preachers and prophets, and honestly, this blog was partly born from seeing so much spiritual fluff online. People are being misled. Souls are on the line. So I started sharing what Scripture actually says—like why baptism is still necessary and what happens one second after death.
Christian bloggers matter because we get to offer clarity where there’s confusion—and light where there’s darkness. It’s not about popularity or going viral. It’s about pointing people to Jesus, one blog post at a time.

Faith-Based Topics Christian Bloggers Are Covering Today
Christian blogging isn’t just about Bible verses and devotionals (though those are important too). We talk about real-life stuff—the kind people deal with every day, but from a biblical perspective. Here’s just a taste of what we (and other bloggers) often cover:
1. Salvation & Spiritual Growth
I’ve written posts on how to be saved and what it means to truly walk with Jesus. Faith isn’t just a label—it’s a lifestyle.
2. Dealing With Anxiety and Stress
Life is hard. Even believers struggle. That’s why we cover topics like stress and trusting God and Bible verses for hard days.
3. Raising Godly Families
From teaching your kids about Jesus to Bible verses every Christian dad should know, family-centered blogging makes a big impact.
4. Standing for Biblical Truth
Whether it’s abortion, gender identity, or false doctrines, some of us aren’t afraid to write what the Bible actually says—even when it’s unpopular.
5. Christian Living & Encouragement
From overcoming tough days to knowing God’s plan, Christian bloggers help people live out their faith, not just read about it.
So whatever season you’re in, there’s a good chance someone’s writing about it—with Scripture as the compass.

How to Know If a Christian Blogger Is Truly Biblical
Not every Christian-sounding blog is rooted in the Bible. I’ve stumbled across some that use Christian lingo—faith, grace, blessings—but when you actually read their content, there’s no Scripture. Just personal stories and feel-good advice.
So how can you tell if a Christian blogger is truly biblical?
1. Do They Use the Bible (In Context)?
It sounds obvious, but many skip this. If they’re quoting Scripture, are they quoting full verses? Are they applying it in context, or twisting it to fit a message? One thing I try to do in every post is use the NKJV, and I stick close to Scripture like in this article about what the Bible says about Heaven and Hell.
2. Is the Gospel Clear?
A biblical blogger doesn’t just talk about blessings—they talk about salvation. They’ll address sin, repentance, and what it actually means to be saved.
3. Are They Willing to Talk About Hard Truths?
I respect bloggers who lovingly tackle tough topics. That’s why I wrote about things like abortion, false preachers, and even hell.
If they never mention sin, judgment, or repentance… it might be more self-help than sound doctrine.
For deeper biblical Q&A, I also appreciate GotQuestions.org. They’re usually reliable for simple, Scripture-based answers.

How Our Christian Blog Is Different
Look, I’m not trying to be flashy. This isn’t a platform for me—it’s a place where I get to share what God’s Word has shown me. I’m not a seminary-trained theologian. I’m just a Christian who loves Jesus, loves people, and loves the Bible.
What makes this blog different?
1. We Stick to the Word
Every article I write is grounded in Scripture. Whether it’s about baptism, daily encouragement, or how to be a better Christian man, I don’t want to share anything that can’t be backed up with the Bible.
2. We Talk About Eternity, Not Just Today
Some Christian blogs focus so much on daily habits that they forget what’s at stake. I write about salvation, heaven and hell, and what happens after we die—because eternity matters.
3. We Encourage Without Watering Things Down
I want people to walk away from each post feeling encouraged, but also challenged to grow. Whether it’s helping Christian dads step up or calling out sin in love, I try to write in a way that’s real, readable, and rooted in Jesus.

How to Start Following Christian Bloggers That Build Your Faith
Let me just say—it’s easy to get overwhelmed online. With hundreds of Christian blogs, it’s hard to know which ones are actually helpful and biblical. But if you’re looking to grow in your walk with Christ, here are some things I’d suggest when finding the right Christian bloggers to follow:
1. Look for Scripture-Driven Content
If their posts don’t bring you back to the Bible, something’s off. On this blog, I always point back to the Word—like why we can’t earn our way into Heaven or how to handle anxiety through prayer.
2. Follow Those Who Speak Bold Truth in Love
It’s not easy to talk about sin, hell, or salvation, but it’s necessary. I respect bloggers who do it without sugarcoating but still with compassion.
3. Start With a Few You Trust
You don’t need to follow 50 blogs. Just start with 2 or 3 solid ones. Stick with those who edify your spirit and help you grow in truth. Of course, Plans With Jesus is here for exactly that!

Why Christian Bloggers Still Matter
When I first started writing, I wasn’t sure if anyone would read my stuff. But then I got emails. Comments. People thanking me for being honest. For quoting the Bible. For reminding them that Jesus is still King no matter what’s happening in the world.
Christian bloggers still matter because people are still searching for answers.
We’re not perfect. We’re not famous. But when we point people to Christ, our work matters. Whether it’s through a post about how to start your day with Jesus, or a tough question like what happens when someone falls away from God, our goal is the same: lead hearts to the truth of God’s Word.
If you’ve been looking for a place to grow, to learn, to wrestle through Scripture and find real answers—welcome. You’re already in the right place.
